Job Responsibilities:

• Work independently in the field, scouting storm affected areas, prospecting, and cold calling potential property owners.
• Setting up property inspections, estimates, and pitching the Company as a resource to assist the property owner during the insurance claim process if damage is found during roof and property inspection.
• Meeting insurance adjusters, scoping the project, creating a formal outline for work/damages with the insurance company, and formally contracting the job with property owners.
• Running company-generated leads for retail re-roof or repair opportunities, selling, performing property inspections, establishing service agreements.
• Learning a variety of advanced roofing systems and how to sell and estimate other relevant exterior trades (siding, gutters, and windows). Assisting the company in the collection of any progress payments, and/or final checks from the property owner.
• Document all activities in CRM and project management systems while in the field. Provide accurate information, changes, feedback on customers, leads and other relevant information to the company, the company CRM, sales managers, coordinators, field trainers, and the owner.
• Assisting production, when required, during the production of the job or project. For example, getting necessary change orders signed, or checking on the job during the build to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assisting the accounts receivable department, when required, to pick up any progress payments, monies for change orders, or supplements during the production of the job, and assisting when needed, the pickup and collection of any final checks.

Job Requirements:

• Work will be conducted both in the field and in the office.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle with a valid Driver’s license.
• Use a ladder to inspect the roof and other exterior trades on a given property.
• Participate in company safety meetings, sales meetings, or training meetings to advance any necessary learning/training to improve as a Sales Associate.

Work Environment:

Mighty Dog Roofing’s Sales Associate role will be responsible for a variety of both on-site projects and office-related tasks. This role will report directly to the Sales Manager(s) based in the Tulsa metro area.

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

This is a full-time position; some on-site projects are likely to require early mornings and late afternoons beyond a typical ‘9 to 5’ job. Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required.

• Sales Representative will receive a commission based on sales performance (starts at 6% of sales revenue and goes up based on as-sold profit margin).
• A stipend will be provided for the first two months while building sales opportunities.
